Dog Show, Petting Zoo, Games & Facepaint!

Thank you to everyone who supported our Summer Fayre either by contributing tombola prizes, time, effort, attending or volunteering - you even brought the sunshine with you!

Zuri stole the Dog Show with "Best Tricks" & "Best School Dog" and was adorned it rosettes and crowned with her "Leavers '23" bandana! The Bake off winners produced some scrumptious animal themed cakes and cupcakes and huge thanks to Rachael and Suzanne for serving us delicious, locally sourced hot dogs all afternoon, courtesy of Bakers of Nailsea - that kitchen was hot!

The face painting team transformed children's faces into tigers, cats, dogs, mermaids, astronomy scenes and much much more. Thank you to all the Staff, Governors and Parent Volunteers who helped cover all the stalls, setting up and tidying up! What a wonderful day and community we were able to submerge ourselves in! No one does it like Flax do it!!!

Thanks also to Kelly's Donkeys & Petting Zoo, the lovely Ferret Lady and Sav's Icecream Van!

Finally, thanks to Mrs Bennett & our Chair of Governors Mrs Newton for being our Bake-Off Judges. To Margaret Atherton and her esteemed vet friend for judging the Dog Show and to Jane Brake for the beautiful bespoke rosette awards for the Dog Show.

Biggest thanks of all, of course, to the FBSA Team & Mrs Williams who volunteer tirelessly and enthusiastically throughout the year to make these community events happen.
