ALL DOGS MUST BE ON LEADS AT ALL TIMES WHILST ON SITE.
Please consider your pooch's character in a busy environment with lots of young, unpredictable children, activities and petting zoo animals. Adults should be responsible for handling at all times outside the dog arena. Owners will be asked to leave the site if their dog is deemed out of control.
Please pick up your dog's waste immediately to avoid cross contamination. All dog waste must be taken home with you please - no dog waste to be put in school or FBSA bins. Many thanks.
There will be a multitude of consumable hazards for dogs - raisins, chocolate cake etc - please ensure you are vigilant about what your dog scoops up for consumption. The FBSA will not take responsibility for any toxic substances or consumables causing harm to your dog. Please see risk assessment attached below.
*Petting Zoo Area 13:30-16:30 - Donkeys, Shetland pony, pygmy goat, rabbits & ferrets.
*Bar – alcoholic (incl jugs of Pimms), soft and hot drinks.
*Food - Hot dogs, Tea & Cake, Strawberries & Cream, Sav’s Ice Cream Van
*Tombola, Lucky Dip, Fair Games - Coconut Shy, Hook the Duck etc
*Face Painting - 1-5pm with a break for the Dog Show.
Most of all, an opportunity to socialise, catch up and chat with friends old and new while the kids play.
As with all our whole school events, do feel free to buddy up and volunteer with a friend for a 30minute slot in the sun or the hall – sign up sheets will go on class noticeboards next term.
This year we will be running all outdoor events/games with a token system again to avoid lots of cash exchange. Tokens (in the form of raffle tickets) can be bought at the till in the hall. £1/token. Different events will require a different number of tokens i.e. Tombola = 1xtoken for 2 go's.
Cash and cards will be accepted at the till.
THINK GREEN! BYO CUPS!
In line with our environmental role modelling, please BYO drinking receptacles as usual. In an effort to reduce our plastic and landfill waste and maintain all our events being carbon neutral, we will not be providing cups for drinks and continue to offset our carbon footprint through Forest Carbon - https://www.forestcarbon.co.uk/
If you are unable to avoid driving, please consider lift shares.
We really appreciate considerate parking to avoid inconveniencing our neighbours.
Thank you once again for your cooperation and support in advance.
Kind regards
The FBSA.
