Key Information

There has been a school iView of Hollow through stonesn Flax Bourton since 1859, moving to its present, much larger and open position in 1996. We have four spacious classrooms, a newly built library and an inspiring outside classroom, the Hollow, set in large playing fields.  Our grounds, complete with chickens and vegetable beds, offer us great space for outdoor learning, facilities we utilise at every opportuntity.

Our five classes are organised into Reception year, Year1, Year2 and two mixed aged classes (Year 3/Year4 and Year 5/Year 6). As a small school we really value the opportuntities we have to work closely with families and together in groups across the school.

We have a well established system of school buddies where older children in the school are partnered with younger children to share reading, enjoy time together and look out for each other on the playground.

Year 6 pupils sharing learning diaries with their Reception buddies – a special time enjoyed by all.
